3-Drawer Dresser

I found a new (old) dresser!  I am so excited to start. I have a month to finish it so I can take it to the church craft bazaar to sell so I got started tonite.
Here it is:

This one needs more work.  I'll have to replace the knobs this time since 2 of them don't match.  I'm not against mis-matched knobs. Sometimes they can look great.  But these.... are hideous.  Also hideous... the stain/paint that someone covered her with. Wow... It's really bad.  So, the sanding begins.  Here is one of the drawer fronts before:

Ick.  The stain/paint (I can't tell what it really is.) is all slopped on and even dripping in places.  So sad.  It didn't take too much to get thru it.  But I am concerned of a similar incident that has happened with my night-stand (still sanding on that one!!), so I'm goint to sand much more.

 

I am on my way.  I cannot wait to see how she turns out.  She has no name yet, but it will come to me.  More updates as I go!
